Call for abstract TOP5ID 2026 edition

All abstracts will be shown as ePoster during the TOP5 in Infectious Diseases Congress and will be evaluated by a Board of International Experts.

The best 10 abstracts will be selected: the first author will receive free registration to the TOP5 in Infectious Diseases Congress that will include participation to the congress, travel, accomodation and social dinner.

Deadline abstract: abstract must be submitted online in electronic format no later than 11:59 PM on February 18th, 2026.
There will be no extensions for this first 'Call for abstract'

Deadline ePoster: ePoster must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM on March 15th, 2026

• HIV prophylaxis and therapy
• Viral infections
• Infections caused by multidrug resistant Gram-negative bacilli
• Infections caused by Gram positive bacteria
• Invasive fungal infections
• Infections in immunocompromized patients
• Mycobacterial and rare infections

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACTs

Only abstract in English language will be accepted. The abstracts should be styled in a consistent manner:

1. all affiliations need to be clear and complete
2. Consistent formatting is required (headings: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions)
3. Abbreviations – should all be spelt out on first mention
4. If there are any references, they should include journal, volume and page details
5. All references should be cited in the text

• Abstract title in English maximum length 250 characters
• Select TOPIC from the appropriate list
• Entering Presenting Author data
• Maximum 3 affiliations per Presenting Author
• Text length Abstract in English maximum 350 words
• Bibliographic references field (optional)
• max 1 table or 1 figure;
• Non-author presenter field (optional, to be inserted in case the presenting author is not part of the authors of the Abstract)
